OMG! Decadent Donuts is a licensed-based business model. The Directors primary goals have always been twofold:
- To provide an inclusive product that as many people as possible can enjoy,
and
- To provide an affordable low-risk business model for others to replicate; built on family values.
Given that, you can imagine the delight in reading the following unbidden post on the personal socials page of OMG! licensee Emily Sorling. Emily and her husband Daniel have OMG! Decadent Donuts Geraldton (WA) region. They are a beautiful young family with two little tikes. Emily wrote:
“Wow OMG Decadent Donuts, what an amazing company to be a part of! We’ve been OMG business owners now for almost 2 years and I have loved every minute of it.
The 4 directors, David and Andrew, Di and Steve are absolutely incredible people who make you feel so loved and like family 🥰 there’s never any pressure to do better or do more, and they are totally supportive of anything you might go through…even if that means a pause in running your business due to your own family commitments.
Then there is the other other licencees…everyone is willing to help each other. From sharing donut mix to sharing business ideas, helping in any way they can. If you don’t know how to do something, chances are someone else can help you!
It has been so great for Daniel and I who haven’t ever run a business before now and had no idea how to do it. There’s even help from HQ with social media, marketing, etc. Plus with the training you get from Andrew in the beginning, you’re all set up and ready to start trading straight away.
I’m just feeling the love from the directors after our recent catch up with them in Brisbane and wanted to share with you all how we feel. 🥰🥰

The income is great, with licensees achieving or exceeding their personal financial goals, as a licensed business model no-one is bound to achieve a KPI set by a big corporate and everyone’s goals are different and everyone’s definition of success is different.”
Also, as no royalties or marketing fees are paid back to a franchisor located elsewhere and each OMG! business owner is local to their area, funds stay within their local community. It’s a win for the OMG! business owner and a win for the local community.
The business is designed to be flexible; it can be operated as a side hustle or as full-time. And when life happens, as it inevitably will, it can be expanded or contracted so you can do business your way.
