Frighteningly a milk allergy is very different from a milk intolerance with reactions more severe, in some cases causing anaphylaxis. Diagnostic testing is really the only way to ascertain what is wreaking havoc with the digestion system or your immune system but with the adverse symptoms and discomfort caused by eating dairy, health professionals advise to avoid consuming dairy products in both cases.
