Meet the Team

We are OMG Decadent Donut Brisbane North West, and we’d love you to meet our awesome team – my gorgeous husband Noel, our beautiful daughter Jacinta and of course me, Monique aka Mumma Moo. We are so excited to be part of the OMG! Decadent Donuts family.

Jacinta was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in 2020 and life changed dramatically for us all. It has certainly been a journey that required a lot of education especially around the home with cross contamination and our meal planning. The hardest part is eating out as a lot of businesses say they are gluten free but for a Coeliac, are they really? It’s not just about removing the gluten products from the food. It is also about the cross contamination brought on by contact with gluten products and that understanding of the necessary separation of products, utensils, workstations, and packaging. All of it is so important.  

One thing Jacinta really missed after her diagnosis was yummy treats. Then one day, we found OMG! Decadent Donuts. Our family loves road trips, packed snacks and lunches, great music, and a car full of love. Driving through the country inspired by mother nature’s beautiful backdrops, we reach Dubbo and pull in for fuel. Looking out the window, I see this colourful sign, OMG! Decadent Donuts. Now, who doesn’t love a hot, mouth-watering donut? I walk in and see Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Nut Free, Vegan and 12 heavenly sugar combinations. Yum yum! So excited I race out to the car to grab Jacinta. We have hit the jackpot, they smell so delicious, so scrumptious. What a magical moment, it’s a cold day, the best kind of donut day. 

I purchase an 18 pack then remembered our niece is dairy intolerant, so of course purchased another 18 pack. With 4.5 hours to Wagga the car never smelt so good. I just hope these donuts are as delicious as they smell. One bite and I was in euphoria, every sensation was ignited as I reached for a second then a third, Jacinta doing the same. We definitely weren’t disappointed. We finally reach Wagga and first stop is a delivery to our niece. The smile on her face when she seen the donuts was absolutely priceless, she had not had a donut in years. To be this delicious and food allergy free was amazing! 

Jacinta started researching the company and discovered not only are they 100% Australian owned and operated they are accredited by Coeliac Australia and Kosher Australia and certified by Vegan Australia and Halal Australia. They really have developed an amazing product that ticks all the boxes. The other impressive fact was the sugars have been created with real whole fruits, vegetables and spices from around Australia, no artificial colourings, preservatives or additives. With such an awesome company and delicious product, how could we not join the OMG! Family. So, here we are on this amazing journey. We can’t wait to give you the same experience we’ve had with these scrumptious donuts.
