At OMG! Decadent Donuts, World Donut Day isn’t just about celebrating the joy of a warm, fluffy donut—it’s about creating meaningful connections with our communities and giving back to the people who support us year-round.
This year, for World Donut Day 2025 (6–8 June), we’re handing the power to the people with our “Give Local” campaign—and licensees across Australia are already getting their communities involved in something truly special.
You Choose, We Give
From Geraldton to Geelong, Bundaberg to Launceston, our passionate licensees are calling on their local customers to nominate the community group or charity they want to support this World Donut Day.
It’s simple, heartfelt, and completely local:
– Customers head to their local OMG! Decadent Donuts social media page. Find them here.
– They comment and tag their favourite local organisation doing great things in their area.
– The local organisation with the most mentions becomes the official giving partner for that location.
From there, it’s game on. Between 6–8 June, every OMG! 12-pack sold means $5 goes to the winning charity. It’s a delicious way to do good, and everyone can be part of it. This approach not only gives customers a reason to engage and buy but also creates a ripple effect of kindness in communities nationwide.
Why It Matters
Our licensees don’t just serve donuts—they serve communities. By inviting locals to have their say, we’re shining a spotlight on the small-but-mighty organisations making a real difference in towns and cities across the country.
Whether it’s helping out a grassroots animal rescue, supporting school fundraising efforts, or contributing to a local mental health initiative—each box of donuts helps build something bigger than ourselves.
What’s Next?
The winning charity or community group will be announced on 30 May, just in time to rally the troops and start spreading the word ahead of the World Donut Day weekend.
